Tired of practicing endlessly and not really getting any better? I've been there and it sucks. We'll not at first. At first just noodling around on the guitar is pretty darn fun!
But after a while (maybe even a few years) you start to get frustrated that you can play better than you can. Well, at least that was my experience.
I got pretty down about my ability until I decided to really tune up my practice sessions for results and in this lesson I'm sharing one of my favorite metronome speed drills.
This thing gets results. If I get a little rusty or if I need to focus on a certain picking technique, I'll use this drill to get me there super quick. Have a look at the video and pick up this drill and make sure to use it in your own practice sessions. Remember, don't strain yourself but you're looking for deliberate practice in that area just beyond your skill level.
This drill will help you find it and then learn how to use it to your strategic advantage.
